Welcome to the Nurse's office at HHIECC

My name is Anne Jacoby and I am your school nurse. I am a Registered Nurse with over 12 years nursing experience, specializing mainly in pediatrics.  I look forward to meeting you as parents and caring for your child this year.

I hope that your child never has to miss school because of illness or disease. The best protection from disease is prevention. You can help prevent many illnesses by making sure your child receives immunizations and by making sure your child knows how to wash his or hands often.

If you think that your child has an illness that can be spread to others, please keep him or her home from school and contact your doctor or clinic. Here is a quick reference of illnesses for exclusion from school.

If your child has any of the following illnesses, please keep them home!

Chicken Pox/Varicella (may return once all lesions have crusted over)

Children with the following conditions do not have to be excluded from school, if they feel well enough to participate in regular school activities.
