About Us

Hilton Head Island Early Childhood Center is one of four early childhood centers in Beaufort County School District.

We are proud to be a Title I school. Our kindergarten population represents all students who are 5 on or before September 1 who live in our attendance zone. Our school includes two special education classrooms, one for Pre-K students and one for Kindergarten students. Due to our high percentage of Hispanic students we have two full time English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) teachers. We currently have seven pre-kindergarten teachers serving seven full- day sessions of pre-kindergarten.
Hilton Head Early Childhood Center serves eligible students in Grade Pre-K through Kindergarten who live on Hilton Head Island.

Vision

Hilton Head Island Early Childhood Center, in collaboration with the engaged community, is committed to actively ensuring that each learner develops his/her potential by providing an excellent education in a safe, nurturing, learning environment.

Mission

Hilton Head Island Early Childhood Center will create an environment which promotes curiosity, exploration and self-expression where children are encouraged to become actively engaged in their own learning.
