School Arrival and Dismissal

Classes will begin each morning at 7:45 a.m., and our doors will open each morning at 7:15 a.m.

Students will be dismissed each afternoon at 2:45 p.m. 

 

In the morning:

  • Arrival begins at 7:15 a.m.

  • Cars are in a single line in the far right lane by the curb.

  • Stay in the car line. Do not move to the parking spaces.

  • The carpool line closes at 7:40 so that school can start at 7:45. We will make adjustments this first week, so stay in your car until directed to the parking spaces. If time is an issue in the morning, we highly suggest that your child ride the bus to school.

In the afternoon:

  • Dismissal begins at 2:40 p.m.

  • Cars are in a double line.

  • Make sure you have your car tag and that it is visible.

  • Your child will be brought to your car. Do not leave your car.

  • If you have children at other schools, we ask that you come here first.

Bus riders:

  • If your child rides a bus to an afterschool program, please make sure that the program has an HHIECC tag.

  • Be at the stop at least 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled drop off time. Stay at the stop until the bus arrives.  It may take the bus a little longer to run the route at the start of the year.  You will need your car/bus tag to receive your child off the bus so have that ready when the bus arrives. 

  • If the bus is past 20 minutes late, stay at the stop but feel free to give the school a call at 843-689-0400.  We will be happy to help you in any way we can.
